Fitment

What it does

A/C work requires recovering and recharging refrigerant with proper equipment. A healthy cooling system keeps the engine at its working temperature; most cooling parts are replaced because of leaks, corrosion or a failed bearing or seal.

Installation & tips

  • Have the A/C system evacuated and recharged by a shop with the right equipment.
  • Receiver drier: Usually replaced when the system is opened.
  • Work on a cool engine with the vehicle secured, and use a service manual for your vehicle for torque specs and procedures.
