What it does

Leaks, overheating and a heater that blows cold are common signs of cooling trouble. A healthy cooling system keeps the engine at its working temperature; most cooling parts are replaced because of leaks, corrosion or a failed bearing or seal.

Installation & tips

• Flush and refill with the coolant type your engine needs, then bleed the air out.
• Coolant: Use the correct type.
• Thermostat: Cheap while the system is drained.
• Work on a cool engine with the vehicle secured, and use a service manual for your vehicle for torque specs and procedures.

FAQ

Can I install it myself?
