What it does
Ignition parts create and deliver the spark that lights the fuel in each cylinder. Electrical faults often show up as warning lights, rough running or no-start problems, and the right replacement part clears the cause rather than the symptom.
Installation & tips
- Set the spark plug gap to your engine spec and do not over-torque plugs in aluminum heads.
- Plug wires or boots: Old wires and boots crack.
- Put the new part next to the old one and compare the shape, mounting points and connections before you install it.
- Disconnect the battery before you unplug or splice any wiring, and test everything works before you refit trim panels.
