What it does
Replacement parts keep a factory turbo system working; upgrades raise its limits. Air and fuel parts decide how well the engine breathes and how cleanly it runs, so the right part restores smooth running and can support more power on a modified engine.
Installation & tips
- Change fuel and tuning together with boost, and check for leaks with a boost leak tester.
- Tuning: Most boost changes need a tune.
- Couplers and clamps: Old couplers split under boost.
- Work on a cool engine with the vehicle secured, and use a service manual for your vehicle for torque specs and procedures.
